Larry Mock - wedding
As the father of 5 daughters I am getting to know the wedding scene pretty well.
Lauren was the second to tie the knot and I now know for sure what band I will hire
for my next 3...BROADBAND! Not only did these guys ( and "broad") understand the
pacing of our party, they played all of our requests flawlessly with great
musicianship and showmanship. But the coup de gras was when I called Dave just two
days before the wedding requesting a father/daughter tune that I had googled and
wanted to sing to my daughter as a new family tradition...I was all ready to go it
alone or with a karaoke arrangement..but when I found out the key was too high Dave
"volunteered" the band to do it with full backing accompaniment in the correct key
for me...and suffice it to say ..not a dry eye in the house. great job Broadband,
glad I made the connection!
Ann Devlin - wedding
Since we had hired broadband on the recommendation of 5-Star Events Coordinator Susan Nicholson, we didn't really know what to expect. Well,
not only did the band learn and flawlessly perform our requested song "That's
All" but their female vocalist Roberta Lewis actually sounded like a recording
artist herself with her rendition of it. My new husband John is quite the Elvis fan
and the band responded with several of the King's greatest hits. Their variety
continued to amaze as they segued from a crowd pleasing "We are Family" to
fiddle tunes that got virtually everyone young and old out of their seats and onto
the dance floor. It is always satisfying when expectations are met and surpassed,

Katie Hone - wedding
What a joy it was to have Broadband play at our Red Mountain wedding
reception. As a music teacher, I so appreciated the band's high-level
of musicality and professionalism, and my husband and I both loved the
versatility the group brings. Our guests were very impressed with the
amazing talent displayed by all members of the band. Everyone from our
young nephews to our grandparents thoroughly enjoyed the music - we all
ended up on the dance floor at some point throughout the evening!
With a group of 80 guests in a relatively small area, we were concerned that a
band would be too overpowering, but Broadband was able to adapt, go with
the flow, and set the tone for a wonderfully happy wedding party.

Lauren Weisman - wedding
I spoke with Dave off and on for the few months prior to my wedding and he put me
totally at ease as we worked out the set list preferences and first dance and
father/daughter choices..plus they played my favorite band Steely Dan and sounded
even better than the original to me! They played a cross-section of tunes that
related well to both my (younger) friends, my parents friends and our whole family,
highlighted by a fun sing along "Those were the Days/We are Family" medley. Overall
great.

For our corporate getaway and employee rewards program in Aspen, we hired (thru Big
Jig Entertainment ) Broadband and elements thereof for 3 of our theme night events.
Country nite was special with Steve Saylor rockin' out on his fiddle, jazz nite was
with the Uptown Strutters Trio ( smaller version of broadband ) who played elegant
jazz standards for a quiet reflective dinner and we closed our final evening Awards
nite with the entire 6 piece group that knocked our socks off! That Roberta Lewis is
a chameleon of sorts with her dynamic vocal range on a variety of pop dance

Susan Hoskins, wedding, Mother of the Bride
David, please convey my sincere appreciation to the members of Broadband for their
fabulous performance at my daughter's wedding reception at the Little Nell Hotel
on October 4, 2008. The band absolutely rocked and the guests danced with gusto until the last song ended. My only desire is that the band produces a CD for our continued enjoyment.

Jill Roeschel - Private Party
My husband Hans and I have been hosting an annual party and we had always
hired the Uptown Strutters with great success, but this year Dave suggested
trying out their larger group (Broadband) and the outcome exceeded our
expectations. The evening began with the elegant Jazz standards that morphed
into some wild and fun country fiddle and then soulful Motown and Rock dance
music to send everyone home happy. They even played a wonderful waltz for
Hans and his mom (who had flown all the way from Vienna) to dance to. One of
our guests was the aspenmoguls.com event planner rep. who commented that
Broadband was "the best band in the the Roaring Fork Valley!" And if that
wasn't enough, the Strutters part of the band then ended up around our grand
piano and we had an intimate and memorable group sing-a-long that was the
